When airlines won’t let passengers off the airline for absurd amounts of time, like the recent ExpressJet / Continental Airlines debacle, I’m confused why law officials don’t consider this unlawful imprisonment.
I’ve heard reports that passengers have sued airlines, but what were the results? And why aren’t there repercussions to the officials or panels in charge of the way airlines and airports are operated?
